July 2021 Member Update

Following the government changes and the committee review of the guidelines, please find our update below going forward.  All of these changes are due to government guidelines and may change at short notice.  These changes are in effect from Monday, July the 19th.

 

 

Opening Times: We recently changed our opening hours, please see below.

 

 

New Opening Times:

Monday to Thursday       11:00 – 23:00

Friday & Saturday            11:00 – 00:00

Sunday                              12:00 – 22:00

 

 

Masks: From Monday, July the 19th, face-coverings will no longer be mandatory inside the club and will be a personal choice for members and staff.  The clear plastic protecting the bar staff will remain for now.

 

 

Table Service:  For now, table service is still in force but is now optional.  A staff member will come to your table to take your order and bring back your order when ready. 

 

 

Bar Service: Bar service resumes from the designated areas, which will be highlighted.  Members will be allowed to stand at the bar.  Bar stools will not be allowed at this stage.

 

 

Maximum Table Occupancy: There will be no maximum table occupancy enforced. 

 

Children: The club has always been family-friendly and always will be.  We welcome well-behaved children with an adult.  All children must remain seated with an adult.  Children should be accompanied to the toilet by a suitable adult.  All children must leave the premises by 8 pm at the latest.

 

Social Distancing: Socially distanced seating will remain.

 

Track and Trace:  Track and trace will still be available, and we encourage members to check in with the NHS app.

 

Function Room Bookings: Functions will increase to our maximum, which will be 60 people.

 

Sanitisers:  Hand sanitisers are still available on entry to the club and also in the toilets.

 

 

Entertainment: We are not planning on any live music at this time. 

 

 

Food: Food from outside companies is forbidden to be eaten on the premises.

 

We are sure all of our members and visitors will comply with these guidelines, but any person flouting the guidelines will be given a verbal warning and asked to leave the club. Further transgressions could result in a permanent ban.  All of The Committee fully supports this.

 

 

We welcome all members and visitors to enjoy the facilities of The Binfield Club safely.  Our priority is to ensure all staff, members and visitors can continue to experience a safe and enjoyable visit.
