COVID-19 Operating Procedures


Functions and Activities


The safety and wellbeing of our staff, members, guests and suppliers is our number one priority, and it is, for this reason, we will be implementing and following current Government Guidelines.

We all have a responsibility to continue to observe these guidelines and therefore, no guests, staff or suppliers should arrive at the club if they have any of the symptoms of COVID-19.

All signage displayed must be read and adhered too.

  • Everybody must sanitise their hands on entry
  • Function room capacities and layouts will be calculated to ensure social distancing guidelines are observed
  • All meeting rooms will be cleaned throughout using an antiviral disinfectant, sanitiser and single-use cloths
  • The person arranging the function or activity is responsible to tidy up and clean any tables or chairs after each event.  Cleaning products can be provided if needed
  • Functions can have a maximum of 30 people

  • The person organising the function will be asked to sign a Covid-19 form confirming they understand the requirements of using the function room safely
  • All users of function room facilities follow the guidelines on social distancing, including strict adherence to social distancing of 2 metres or 1 metre with risk mitigation (where 2 metres is not viable) are acceptable
  • Function rooms are not to be used by children unsupervised
  • All people attending the function room should sanitise their hands on entry
  • Children must remain at the table seated and not running around and should be accompanied to the toilets to help with handwashing and sanitation
  • Catering is available, but if the organiser is arranging their own catering then they must take all responsibility for Covid-19, food hygiene and health and safety rules

The person responsible for arranging the function or activity is responsible to ensue that all members use their fob to enter the building.  If the person attending is not a member, then the person arranging the function or activity must ensure that they sign the visitor book and leave a name and contact number.



We will deliver accurate and timely information to our staff, guests and suppliers via the most effective platforms including web-based, newsletters and in-person briefings and upon any amendment to this document.
