We are delighted to announce that we will be able to welcome back our members to The Binfield Club on the 6th of July 2020. During this unprecedented time, we have needed to introduce a new operating model and ask members to consider the several factors below and make an informed decision before visiting the club.
Members Only – At this time, we are only able to accept MEMBERS AND THEIR PARTNERS. These measures are to ensure members are given priority over seating, and due to government contact tracing guidelines, we can provide visitor information if needed. FOBS WILL BE MANDATORY, if you do not currently have a fob or if your fob is faulty, please contact the office on the details below to arrange a replacement. We are not accepting any visitors or children until further notice.
Opening Hours – Our opening hours will be restricted to 11:00 to 20:00 (last order 19:20) Monday to Sunday until further notice.
Social Distancing – We ask all members and staff to respect a minimum of 2 metres apart when moving around the club.
Cleanliness – During the lockdown period, we have taken this opportunity to deep clean the various areas of the club. Since the very beginning, we have also provided hand sanitiser, which will be continued until further notice. Hand sanitiser can be found on entry to the club and in each toilet. We have also increased the frequency of cleaning in all areas.
Personal Protection Equipment – All staff are provided with face masks and gloves. We have also installed a Perspex screen around all serving areas on the bar to protect the staff and members.
Payments – Our contactless payment limit has been increased to £45.00 per transaction, which is our preferred payment choice but will be accepting cash if needed.
Seating & Capacity – We have reorganised the club seating to maximise on social distancing guidelines, including the main function room. Please refrain from moving furniture to ensure reasonable social distancing. We have also provided additional outdoor seating if preferred. All tables will be sanitised after every use.
Toilets – The toilets will be maximised for social distancing, and we ask members to respect other members using the facilities and to wait if the toilettes are not available.
Fruit Machines – All fruit machines will be operational on the day we open. We ask only ONE PERSON per machine when in use and no spectators. Machines will be sanitised regularly by staff, but sanitiser wipes will be provided at each device for the use of members.
Snooker & Pool – Snooker & Pool facilities are not currently available.
Live Music Functions Room Hire – There will be no live music or function room hire until further notice.
We understand that these measures are far from normal but will be reviewing all of these factors on a regular basis and will be making changes when we feel it is safe to do so.
Our priority is to ensure all staff and members can return to a safe and enjoyable experience.
We ask all members visiting to use Common Sense and have Respect for other Members and staff failure to do so may see you being asked to leave the premises and your membership being reviewed.
